Smart chaser. 7/2, reported breathing problem when pulled up in Manifesto Novices' Chase at Aintree (19.9f, good to soft) won by Millers Bank. Is the class act in this field and goes well fresh, so should be tough to beat.

Fairly useful hurdler who showed improved form to make a winning chase debut in Exeter novice in December. Jumping went to pieces towards the end of the season, though, and he returns with a bit to prove.
|
Fairly useful hurdler who signed off last season with a double in handicaps at Fontwell but will find this tougher on return from 6 months off.
|
Strong-travelling mare who was better than ever when landing a 5-runner contest at Chepstow (19.4f, good to soft) in March and backed it up with a good effort at Uttoxeter five months ago. Solid claims on chasing debut.

Forecasts
Pic D'Orhy (4/5), Kissesforkatie (2/1), Legends Ryde (8/1), Gladiateur Allen (11/1)
PIC D'ORHY is best in small fields and his mettle probably won't be tested much in this, so he's fancied to make all. Kissesforkatie is an interesting newcomer to chasing and Legends Ryde can't be completely ruled out for all he has plenty to find with the selection.
- Pic D'Orhy4/5
- Legends Ryde8/1
