Fairly useful hurdles winner. 33/1 and tongue strap on for 1st time, fell in handicap hurdle at Aintree (20f, good) when last seen 6 months ago. Latest appearance in this sphere was back in October 2019 but he's unexposed on the Flat and needs a market check.
C&D winner. Creditable fifth of 11 in handicap (8/1) at York (16.2f, good to soft) 6 days ago, doing too much too soon. Would be a danger to all if he were to put his best foot forward.
Pulled up in handicap hurdle (33/1) at Newbury (20.5f, good), lame. Off over 2 years and misfired on latest start in this sphere, too, so it's easy to have reservations.
Two wins from 6 runs this year, the latest at Newmarket in July. Fourth of 5 in handicap at Ascot (16f, good to firm, 4/1) 14 days ago. Will probably find one or two too good.
Third of 5 in handicap (7/1) at Wolverhampton (14f) 77 days ago, having run of race. 1 lb lower now and should make his presence felt.
3/1, career best when winning 5-runner handicap at Nottingham (14f, heavy) 9 days ago, forging clear. This is more demanding under a penalty but similar conditions are forecast here and she has to be feared.
Respectable seventh of 14 in handicap (18/1) at this course (14f, good) 21 days ago. Edging down the weights but others make more appeal all the same.
Career best when winning 5-runner handicap (6/5) at Pontefract (17.1f, good) 72 days ago, digging deep. 5 lb rise could be enough to anchor him here.
Cheekpieces on for 1st time, below form seventh of 12 in handicap (20/1) at Epsom (12f, heavy) 36 days ago. Significantly up in trip and it's probably best to look elsewhere.
Course winner. Good fourth of 14 in handicap at this course (14f, good, 14/1) 21 days ago, left poorly placed. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals.

Whitehaven (5/2), Qoya (7/2), Duty Bound (11/2), Kincade (6/1), Maketh Believeth (15/2), Rick Blaine (8/1), Navajo Pass (17/2), Temporize (11/1), Good Soul (22/1), Coeur Blimey (25/1), Vissani (33/1)
Four of WHITEHAVEN's five career wins have been gained during the month of October, including this race last year, and he looks the way to go with conditions in his favour and top apprentice Benoit De La Sayette booked. Next on the list is Qoya, who is clearly effective in the mud judged on her recent Nottingham success and this stiffer test should be in her favour. Navajo Pass is also worth a second look, for all that his latest Flat appearance was three years ago.
