Cheekpieces on for 1st time in this code, last of 6 in handicap at this course (12.4f, 33/1) 13 days ago. Significantly back up in trip and she finds herself with a fair bit to prove.
C&D winner. First run since leaving Brian Ellison and tongue strap on for 1st time when pulled up in novice hurdle at Kelso (20.9f, good to firm, 33/1) on hurdles bow 9 days ago. Blinkers on 1st time and possibilities if the new headgear does the trick.
Creditable fourth of 9 in handicap (9/1) at Ayr (15f, soft) 14 days ago. Down 1 lb and, runner-up over this C&D on his most recent visit here in October 2021, he's one for the shortlist.
33/1, bit below form eighth of 13 in handicap at Pontefract (17.1f, good) 26 days ago. Resumes in this sphere on a potentially handy mark but his record is unconvincing.
Respectable fifth of 9 in handicap at Ayr (15f, soft, 11/2) 14 days ago, taking time to get going. Needs considering off 2 lb lower here with an extra furlong to travel.
Twenty-one runs since last win in 2016. 28/1, respectable fifth of 9 in handicap at Pontefract (18f, good) 8 days ago. Looks vulnerable from a win point of view.
11/2, last of 9 in handicap at Ayr (15f, soft) 14 days ago. Would be a big player if returning to the level of form he showed during the spring but he's far from certain to do so.
Eighteen runs since last win in 2017. Second of 4 in handicap hurdle at Perth (23.9f, soft, 7/4) 36 days ago. Well held last 2 starts in this sphere and she's passed over.

Forecasts
Floating Rock (6/4), Tomorrow's Angel (4/1), Satanic Moon (9/2), Hackberry (11/2), Zuckerberg (12/1), Misscarlett (14/1), Monticello (22/1), Nastasiya (25/1)
While FLOATING ROCK is generally of greater interest over jumps nowadays, he performed well enough at Ayr a fortnight ago to suggest that a race of this nature should be within his grasp. Zuckerberg would be a danger to all if on a going day but his profile is too patchy for comfort and Tomorrow's Angel, who was just under a length adrift of Floating Rock at Ayr, rates the main danger.
