Little to shout about in Ireland in 2021 so watching brief is advised for new yard after 13 months off the track.
Still not one to trust fully but he has found some consistency since joining this yard, following small-field Kelso win in May a series of creditable efforts in defeat. Not quite so good last time and attentions switched back to the smaller obstacles.
Not scored since 2019 but added another sound placed effort to his collection after 6 months off when a close third at Carlisle just under 5 weeks ago. Nudged up 2 lb for that near miss but fancied to give another good account.
Runner-up on his first and final outings in bumpers and ran his best race in maidens when third at Cartmel (17.2f, good) just over 5 weeks ago. Market check advised now moving into handicaps.
Took advantage of much-reduced mark to belatedly open hurdles account at Newcastle (2½m) in April. Good placed efforts last 3 starts and ought to be thereabouts again.
Placed on second of 2 outings in bumpers but fairly low-key start in a trio of mares' novice hurdles, needing the emphasis more on stamina when last seen at Cartmel in May. Open to progress now handicapping upped further in trip.
Chased home a long odds-on rival when upped to this trip at Sedgefield in August but failed to confirm the placings with Longstone Cowboy at Hexham (20.1f, good) since. Tough to fancy making his handicap debut.
Showed promise in bumpers for Willie Mullins and more encouragement than previously over hurdles for present stable when runner-up at Perth (16.2f) in July. Not so good at Cartmel since so needs this extra distance to bring out some progress.
Maiden hurdler who struck at first attempt over fences at Sedgefield (19f) last November. Lost his way later in the season (chases and hurdles) but shaped as if better for the run after 6 months off here (18.1f) last month. This should reveal more.
Won handicap at Carlisle (20f) in October but has been hit and miss since, merely underlining his inconsistency when down the field at Perth back in May. Returns from a 5-month break and that may well have done him some good.
Back in the winning groove on second start following a wind op when seeing off 9 rivals at Cartmel in May. Well held on all 3 subsequent starts so tough to see him getting involved.
Successful at Carlisle in February and placed twice in the spring. May have needed the run when down the field after 4 months off at Perth (20.2f, good) 11 days ago and he's more than capable off this mark if on a going day.
Exposed as a poor maiden jumper and ran as well as could be expected from 6 lb wrong at the weights on return when fourth at this track (18.1f) last month. Needs to build on that if her first success is to arrive today.

An open-looking finale in which it could pay to side with OLD JEWRY. Daragh Bourke's charge was successful at Carlisle from a 9 lb higher mark back in February and having shaped as if the run was needed at Perth recently, he's afforded the tentative vote. Coup de Gold added another sound placed effort to his collection at Cartmel 5 weeks ago so he's fancied to feature, along with Bestiarius and Castletown.
