Having shaped up well from a wide draw on debut at Chelmsford, APPOINTED ONE looked unsuited by the drop to the minimum trip back at that venue 12 days ago. Back up at 6f with cheekpieces enlisted, he still has more to offer and he gets the nod. Both New Definition and Paddy's Day have plenty of experience and can also figure, with Spartan Arrow, who shaped up well on his debut, also in the reckoning.
