First run since leaving Joseph Tuite when second of 7 in handicap (14/1) at Catterick (15.9f, heavy) 19 days ago, clear of rest. Has good chance on pick of form.
Showed improved form to double career tally at Sandown (14f) in July. 40/1, left poorly placed when ninth of 12 in handicap at Haydock (14f, firm) 22 days ago, never dangerous. Bounce back not ruled out down markedly in class.
Ran best race for some time when third on return at Doncaster (16.5f) in April but largely below that level since, sixth of 7 in handicap at Lingfield (15.8f, AW) 5 weeks ago, following another wind op. Visor reached for now.
Off the mark at Wolverhampton (16.5f) in August but found things much tougher in a deeper race when eleventh of 13 in handicap (33/1) at Kempton (16f) 23 days ago, effort over 3f out and never a threat. More needed.
Ended long losing run over hurdles at Southwell in March and shaped better than bare result back on Flat at Pontefract (21.6f) a month later. However, ran poorly on back of 5 months off when tenth of 12 in handicap (25/1) at Epsom (12f, heavy) 17 days ago.
Good second of 11 in handicap at this C&D (good, 12/1) 30 days ago, collared dying strides but pulling clear of rest. Not taken lightly with a repeat.
Winner at Newbury (12f) in July. Cheekpieces on for 1st time, third of 5 in handicap (3/1) at Haydock (14f, firm) 23 days ago, carrying head a little awkwardly. No forlorn hope.
Winner at Bath (11.6f) in May. Seventh of 8 in handicap at Kempton (2m) 18 days ago, weakening over 1f out. Must bounce back.
11/1, ninth of 11 in handicap at this C&D (good) 30 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time. Others more persuasive.
Winner at Windsor (11.5f) in August. Third of 5 in handicap at Epsom (12f, good to firm, 13/8) 26 days ago, possibly not at home on the track. Feasible to think she can do better still, including at this longer trip.

Forecasts
Rushford (9/4), City Spirit (10/3), Arthalot (5/1), Byron Hill (11/2), Shibuya Song (11/1), Campese (11/1), Mr Chua (14/1), Breccia (28/1), Twilight Prince (33/1), Niblawi (66/1)
A winner at Windsor 2 starts back, CITY SPIRIT was possibly unsuited by the track when third at Epsom 26 days ago. She appeals as still being on a handy mark, and this longer trip could unlock further progress from Andrew Balding's filly, so she earns the vote from the foot of the weights. Byron Hill, on just his second start for Richard Hughes, Arthalot and Rushford, down in grade, head up the dangers.
- City Spirit10/3
- Byron Hill11/2
- Arthalot5/1
