Progressed again to get off the mark in 12-runner maiden at Yarmouth in May and best excused his next effort in the Queen's Vase at Royal Ascot. Off since and expected to get back on the up.
Made a winning return at Doncaster in April and, while he hasn't been able to build on that as yet, he remains with potential back from a couple of months off.
Open his account at Ffos Las in August but only second at Salisbury next time, seemingly not applying himself under pressure. Others make more appeal.
Showed good attitude to score over 1½m in first-time cheekpieces at Newbury in July and has performed at least respectably on both subsequent outings. Doesn't appear to be ahead of his mark, though.
AW winner who improved on turf subsequently but put up a tame display (too free) at Goodwood a couple of months ago. Not a guaranteed stayer up in trip.
Is yet to kick on from a highly promising start but the trip has been inadequate on his last couple of starts and he's now tried in cheekpieces with a 5-lb claimer on board, so every chance of a big run.
Confirmed opening mark a lenient one when readily landing a Goodwood handicap (12f) in June but has looked only averagely treated since, fourth of 11 at Ascot 20 days ago.
Fairly useful sort who, on the back of a gelding operation, shaped better than the bare result when fourth from a poor position over C&D 83 days ago. Might do better now fitted with blinkers.
Still relatively unexposed and left previous form well behind when runner-up at Kempton 11 days ago, pulling clear of the remainder. Should be thereabouts if he can back that up returning to turf.
Dual winner this term but seemed undone by a rise when only fourth at Chelmsford last time. Looks vulnerable in this grade.

Zain Nights - Original Position 3rd. Amended Position 2nd.
Post Impressionist - Original Position 4th. Amended Position 3rd.
Forecasts
Speycaster (7/2), Sea King (4/1), Double Cherry (6/1), Post Impressionist (6/1), Baltic Bird (13/2), Teumessias Fox (12/1), Zain Nights (14/1), Flamborough (14/1), Haarar (14/1), Nova Legend (16/1)
The form of BALTIC BIRD's Yarmouth win has worked out really well and it's easy to put a line through his lesser effort in the Queen's Vase next time. Fresh from a break he can get back to winning ways despite the presence of Post Impressionist and Sea King, who both have more to come under the right circumstances.
