Thrice-raced maiden. Evens and hooded for 1st time, third of 9 in minor event at Windsor (6f, good) 24 days ago. Doesn't look especially progressive, but obvious chance here all the same.

Foaled March 2. Acclamation filly. Yard is hardly synonymous with winning newcomers and, chances are, she'll be better for the run.

Once-raced maiden. Seventh of 10 in maiden at Redcar (6f, good to soft, 28/1) on debut, very slowly away. Off 113 days and hard to warm to here on the back of that display.

Foaled January 23. No Nay Never filly. Half-sister to several winners, including 2-y-o 5f/6f winner Bebhinn and US 5f-7f winner Stella Performance, both useful. Represents top northern yard and confidence behind her in the betting would look significant.

Forecasts

Chasseral (5/6), Unrequited Love (9/2), Moralisa (8/1), More Than Desire (17/2), Calluna (9/1), Verbasca (18/1), Forever Proud (22/1), The Angelus Belle (25/1), My Roxanne (40/1), Our Delia (40/1), Vixey (150/1), Rockin Rosa (150/1)

Verdict

All but two of these are newcomers and it'll be interesting to see how the market shapes up. UNREQUITED LOVE ticks plenty of the right boxes on paper and is taken to make a winning start to her career. The form of Chasseral's Newmarket debut third is solid, but it's fair to say that she hasn't managed to build on that in two subsequent starts. That said, she is greatly respected and is next on the list ahead of Moralisa and More Than Desire, both of whom are appealing on paper.
