5/1, third of 10 in minor event at Newcastle (6f) on debut 14 days ago, finishing well after a slow start. Seems sure to build on that so this Brazen Beau colt merits serious consideration.

Forecasts

Paspaley (11/5), Skysail (9/2), Trilby (5/1), What A Whopper (13/2), Vecchio (9/1), Acai (10/1), Fierce (10/1), Dark Trooper (12/1), Calypso (18/1), Stamford Blue (22/1), Fast Trek (33/1), Be Frank (50/1), Muy Muy Guapo (50/1), Giddy Aunt (66/1), Dropskipandump (125/1), Por Ti Volare (300/1)

Verdict

A very open maiden in which marginal preference is for PASPALEY who looked to be really getting the hang of things late on at Newcastle on debut and can take a sizeable step forward here. Skysail also has better days ahead of him and is feared most, although a market move for George Boughey's newcomer Trilby would put a different slant on things.
