260,000 gns yearling, Sea The Stars gelding. Dam, maiden (stayed 12.5f), sister to 2-y-o 7f winner Pathfork and Preakness winner War of Will (both smart) from family of Spinning World. Makes plenty of appeal on paper and one to note on debut.

Well held in novice event/maiden, going with little fluency in recent weeks. Easy enough to look elsewhere.

Made appeal on paper and showed plenty to work on when fourth of 10 in a Chelmsford maiden (1m) on debut 22 days ago, travelling fluently and not unduly punished. Open to improvement and seems sure to go well here.

Zoffany gelding. Stepped up a good deal on debut effort when third of 10 in a course novice event (7f) 23 days ago, effort over 2f out and taking a place 1f out. May do better still, particularly in handicaps. Hood refitted.

Shalaa colt who shaped very well for his leading despite looking very green when fifth of 10 in a C&D maiden on debut back in December, very slowly away but keeping on without being unduly punished. Absent since but highly likely there is better to come.

Bobby's Kitten filly. Half-sister to several winners, including useful winner up to 9f Nocturnal Secret and winner up to 7f Gold At Midnight. Probably best watched making a belated debut.

Mayson filly. Dam unraced. Easy to back shaped as if in need of the experience when fourth of 6 in minor event at this course (7f, 25/1) on debut 37 days ago. This ought to reveal more.

50,000 gns 3-y-o, Teofilo filly. Half-sister to useful winner up to 1¼m Dubai Souq and 1m winner Western Symphony. Dam, useful French 2-y-o 8.5f/9f winner. Well worth a check in the betting for clues ahead of racecourse bow.

Twice-raced maiden. 22/1, eighth of 12 in maiden at this C&D 14 days ago, in rear and never a threat on the back of 12 months off. Another who is likely best watched until tackling handicaps further down the line.

Despite looking very green, MELFET shaped with distinct promise when finishing fifth in a C&D maiden that has worked out very well on debut back in December and he could be worth siding with to overcome a wide draw and take a step forward on return for his leading stable. Central Hall and Regal Rambler rate next best, whilst Alnilam is very much a newcomer to note for another leading outfit.
