Showed more than previously in a first-time tongue strap after 3 months off when fourth in a 9-runner bumper at Worcester (2m) last time but was probably flattered having had the run of the race. Others preferred on hurdle debut.
Showed more than first time up when seventh of 8 in bumper at Stratford (16.3f, good, 40/1) 22 days ago. Makes hurdles debut and more required.
Fairly useful chaser who added to his tally at Stratford in June and shaped as if still in good form when fourth at Cartmel 57 days ago, making effort earlier than ideal. Showed just modest form at best in 6 hurdle starts earlier in career but should do better. Has had a breathing op.
Useful on the Flat (stays 1¾m) for Mark Johnston but shaped with little short-term encouragement sent hurdling after 10 months off when remote third of 4 at Market Rasen last month. Likely to be brought along with handicaps in mind.
Dam closely related to useful bumper winner/smart hurdler (stayed 3m) Summit Meeting. Useful handicapper on Flat, stays 1¾m, so makes obvious appeal on hurdle debut.
Fairly useful on Flat, stays 1¼m, creditable third last time. Sold from Andrew Balding's yard for £31,000 in May and must enter calculations on hurdle debut.
Soldier of Fortune gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful hurdler/chaser Socksy, stays 3¼m. Probably best watched unless the market suggests otherwise.
Fairly useful on Flat in France, stays 1½m, won apprentices event last time. Left Francis-Henri Graffard for €21,000 in July and interesting to see what the market makes of him on hurdle debut.
Fairly useful handicapper on Flat, stays 1¾m, but tailed off last 2 outings. Something to prove now going hurdling in a tongue strap.
£2,000 3-y-o, Blue Bresil filly. Half-sister to bumper winner Deere Mark. Dam unraced half-sister to bumper winner/fairly useful hurdler (stays 2¾m) College Oak. Makes some appeal on paper so worth a market check.

Forecasts
Throne Hall (5/4), Sir Tivo (9/4), Shiyrvann (7/1), The Trader (11/1), Dance At Night (11/1), Bluebella (18/1), Three Platoon (33/1), Fenno's Soldier (50/1), Milfolhas Has (80/1), Charlie My Boy (125/1)
THRONE HALL is a useful performer on the Flat so will prove hard to beat if transferring that form over hurdles at the first attempt. Dance At Night is another to bear in mind making his debut in this sphere having shown a decent level of form on the level too, while others to consider are Shiyrvann and likeable chaser Sir Tivo.
