Smart at best but has gone off the boil, only 10¾ lengths seventh of 8 in C&D Group 3 (good) 37 days ago, slowly away. Others more persuasive.
Very progressive in winning his first 3 starts, including Roscommon listed event over this trip in June. Lost his unbeaten record in C&D Group 3 last time but finished clear of the rest and remains one to be positive about.
Brought up a fine hat-trick in listed event at Limerick in June and confirmed himself a smart performer when excellent third in Ebor Handicap at York (13.8f, good to firm, 5/1) 21 days ago, well positioned. Not taken lightly.
Smart mare who defied a Group 3 penalty to bring up her fifth career success in Cork listed event on reappearance in April. Soon back to form when fourth (subsequently promoted to third) in Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh last time and big player back down in grade.
Useful colt who shaped better than the bare result after 3 months off when 5½ lengths fourth of 5 to Point King in listed race at this course (14f, good) 30 days ago, rapid headway home turn before weakening final 1f. Well worth another chance at this trip with that under his belt.
Useful colt who ran well back up in trip when 4¼ lengths second of 7 in International Stakes at the Curragh (10f, good) 77 days ago, conceding first run. Each-way claims with a repeat.
Completed the hat-trick upped in trip in 5-runner listed race (8/11) at this course (14f, good) 30 days ago, leading 2f out and keeping on well. Better to come again now upped in grade.
Useful filly who ran best race when 3¾ lengths third of 5 in Group 3 at Cork (12f, good) 29 days ago, keeping on well. Needs more at this level, though.
Won first 2 starts, including a Down Royal listed event (13.9f) in July. Lost her unbeaten record in Group 3 at Cork last time but wasn't disgraced and remains with potential after just the 3 starts.

Forecasts
Point King (7/2), Beamish (18/5), Thunder Kiss (4/1), Earl Of Tyrone (9/2), Duke De Sessa (6/1), Bluegrass (14/1), Perotan (16/1), Layfayette (28/1), Kiss You Later (40/1)
There's undoubtedly better still to come from POINT KING and, with this drop back in trip holding no fears given the way he travelled last time, he's fancied to extend his winning sequence to 4. Thunder Kiss, Earl of Tyrone and Beamish are all credible rivals in a strong-looking Group 3.
- Point King7/2
- Thunder Kiss4/1
