Ended last year in good form on AW, landing 2 of his last 3 starts at 7f. Ran up to best returning from 8 months off when second of 14 in handicap at Lingfield (7f. AW) 4 weeks ago and he's one to be interested in again.

C&D winner. Visored for 1st time, never figured when nineteenth of 21 in International handicap at Ascot (7f) in July. Usual cheekpieces refitted and no surprise to see a better showing returned to an artificial surface.

Latest win at Chester (7f, soft) in May. Respectable fifth of 14 in handicap at Lingfield (7f, AW, 9/2) 28 days ago, the emphasis on speed not ideal for her. Remains low mileage on AW and she's not ruled out.

Right back to form when making a winning reappearance at Ascot (1m) in April and similar form when third from inflated mark at Doncaster (1m) in June. Not seen to very best effect on turf more recently but on flipside his mark is steadily easing again.

Confirmed promise of his reappearance effort in March when bolting up in 5-runner Newcastle handicap (7f) in April. Mark suffered as a result but he's not been disgarced on turf in recent months. Another who remains low-mileage on AW.

All 3 victories gained on AW, the latest for present yard at Kempton (1m) in December. Exploits have been decidedly mixed on turf in recent months so hopes pinned on return to AW having positive effect.

Tenth of 12 in handicap (11/1) at Newcastle (7.1f) 14 days ago, weakening when hampered over 1f out. That was his first start for 10 months but blinkers reached for now.

Latest win at Lingfield (7f) in June and remained in form since, creditable fourth of 14 in handicap back at that venue 4 weeks ago. No surprise to see him go well again.

Dual scorer at 2 who has progressed again when hitting frame first 2 starts at up to 7f this season. Not at best at Haydock on most recent outing in June and he's since changed hands for 45,000 gns in July. Interesting if strong in betting here.

Gelded since last seen, posted career best when shedding maiden tag in 11-runner handicap at Lingfield (7f, AW) 28 days ago, driven out. Still unexposed at this sort of trip and he may have more to offer now he's off the mark.

Lightly-raced maiden. Gelded, ran best race to date when third of 6 in handicap at Haydock (7.2f, good) 33 days ago, running on. Does need to keep the tardy starts at bay however.

Course winner. who ran well when placed in pair of 7f handicaps at Chester/Newmarket. However, ran poorly on back of 6 weeks off when last of 10 in handicap (15/2) at Beverley (7.4f, good to firm) 12 days ago.

Made a very bright start for nee yard in recent weeks, responding well to make it 2 wins from last 3 starts at Newcastle (7f) 6 days ago, responding well. Steps up in class now but he's respected under a penalty given he's clearly thriving.

Twice successful at Ayr (6f) this season and holding form well of late, deserving credit in finishing fourth from an unpromising position at Redcar (6f) 12 days ago. Makes tapeta debut.

He could be the way to go in this groove under a penalty, with Street Kid, who ran well on return at Lingfield, an obvious threat. Ffion and Buckshaw Village complete the shortlist.
