Dandy Man colt who stepped up on his maiden/novice exploits when runner-up to a fellow improver at Catterick (7f) in July. Creditable fifth in a stronger race at Doncaster next time and best not judged too harshly on latest Newcastle display. One to consider.
Cotai Glory filly. Sister to 2-y-o 6.5f/7f winner Cotai Hero. 9/1, returned to something like her debut form when staying on for second in 5-runner minor event at Beverley (5f) 4 weeks ago. This longer trip rates a likely plus on that evidence now handicapping. Respected.
Definite signs of ability on debut in a 5f novice here in May but he's not kicked on from that in 3 subsequent outings, last of 18 in nursery at York (6f, good) 21 days ago. Ease in grade an obvious plus but he's not the easiest to weigh up overall.
Lightly-raced maiden. 20/1, last of 9 in nursery at Ripon (6f, good to firm) 30 days ago, beaten long way out. Hood reached for now and he needs to get back on track.
Harry Angel colt. 16/1, creditable fourth of 9 in nursery at Newcastle (6f) 13 days ago, driven over 1f out and one paced. Mark has eased a little and he's certainly not out of things.
Thrice-raced maiden. Back on track when fourth of 8 in minor event at Chelmsford (6f) 18 days ago, not looking that well served by the drop in trip. Still, she's entitled to hold more chance now handicapping.
Camacho gelding who showed minor promise in trio of novice events at up to 7f earlier this term. Well held on nursery debut at Ripon (6f) 30 days ago but eased 4 lb subsequently and it does at least remain early days with him. Visor fitted.
Camacho colt who stepped up on his debut form when sixth in 8-runner Ripon novice (5f) last month, ridden over 2f out and plugging on. Disappointed on qualifying run at Catterick 2 weeks ago and he needs to get back on track now switched to nurseries.

Forecasts
Machito (11/4), Cotai Pearl (3/1), Al Hitmi (7/2), Gone (9/1), Star Of Midnight (10/1), Monte Forte (11/1), Villemacho (12/1), Teatime Tipple (18/1)
COTAI PEARL showed form akin to that of her debut effort when runner-up to a subsequent winner at Beverley (5f) 4 weeks ago and, with the step up in trip/switch to nurseries both positives, Bryan Smart's filly could well be the answer. Al Hitmi and Machito are a couple of others fancied to feature.
