Prominent runner who showed he's still capable of smart form when 3 lengths third of 7 to Alflaila in Strensall Stakes at York (8.8f, good to firm) 14 days ago. More needed if he's to end losing run in this, however.

Smart gelding. All the better for return when close third in listed event at Windsor. Not seen to best effect both starts since but needs things to drop just right at this sort of level.
|
Much improved when winning 12-runner handicap here (7f) in July, just holding on. Good efforts in defeat fitted with this headgear both starts since and not taken lightly up in class.
|
Progressive at 2 yrs, opening his account in commanding fashion in novice here before overcoming the rise in class in C&D listed event at this meeting 12 months ago. Not seen since but has the scope to make a better 3-y-o.

Reach For The Moon (6/5), Triple Time (13/8), Tacarib Bay (2/1), Marie's Diamond (7/2), Dark Shift (5/1), Perotto (11/2), Bayside Boy (6/1), Brunch (10/1)
A winner at this level as a 2-y-o, REACH FOR THE MOON failed to meet expectations in the Hampton Court at Royal Ascot but the step up in trip appeared to stretch him that day and he's worth another chance to build on his encouraging comeback at Sandown. Bayside Boy edged out the selection in a Group 2 last term and may emerge as the biggest threat again returned to a more suitable track, while Dark Shift is well worth a shot at this level given his smart form in top-end handicaps.
