Bounced back from a low-key effort here when landing a five-runner handicap chase at Bangor (3m, good) last week. 2 lb lower back hurdling, but didn't show a great deal in two starts in this sphere on the other side of the channel back in 2020.
Cashed in on a falling mark when accounting for his two rivals at Fontwell (25.7f, good) in May. Creditable placed efforts on two of his three subsequent starts, but first-time visor will need to help eke out some improvement if he's to take this.
Dual novice hurdle winner who was runner-up on handicap debut at Uttoxeter off 6 lb higher in August 2020. Has failed to make an impact in four subsequent appearances, though, and wellbeing needs taking on trust here following a 17-month absence.
Has raised his game since equipped with blinkers, off the mark at Uttoxeter in April and added to his tally with a dominant display under Jack Hogan at Market Rasen (23f, good to firm) last time. Hit hard by the handicapper (now 11 lb higher), but he's a big player nonetheless.
Twice a winner in this sphere in 2021 and left chase debut form well behind when landing a two-runner novice chase here (23f, good to soft) last week. On a good mark back hurdling and likely to make his presence felt.
Posted a couple of creditable efforts in defeat earlier this year, just touched off at Catterick prior to finishing fourth of 11 in a Class 2 Market Rasen handicap. Subsequent efforts on the Flat have been poor, though, and others are more appealing.

Forecasts
The Turtle Said (5/4), Moon King (85/40), Landen Calling (3/1), Imperial Knight (3/1), Jersey Wonder (7/1), Dagueneau (10/1), Red Happy (11/1)
Unpenalised for his impressive recent victory in a conditional jockeys' handicap at this course, THE TURTLE SAID is likely to take the world of beating. He has very few miles on the clock and there's good reason to believe that he'll be equally effective over this new trip. Landen Calling, also a wide-margin winner on his latest start, is second choice ahead of Imperial Knight, who scored over fences here recently and resumes in this sphere on a good mark.
