Latest win at Catterick in July. Bit below form eighth of 14 in handicap (50/1) at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) 26 days ago. Bounce back needed.
Four-time C&D winner. Excellent third in Great St Wilfrid over C&D on yard debut and close second at Hamilton since. Likely to give another good account.
Latest win at Newcastle in March. Off 11 weeks, shaped as if better for run when fourth of 8 in handicap at Thirsk (5f, good, 10/1) 18 days ago. Enters calculations.
Latest win at Hamilton in July. Respectable fifth of 13 in handicap at Redcar (6f, good to firm, 8/1) 3 days ago.
Good second of 8 in handicap (15/2) at Pontefract (6f, good) 16 days ago, running on. Likely to be in the shake-up if showing up in similar form.
Latest win on AW at Newcastle in March but has struggled to make a significant impact on turf on his last 4 starts. Edging down the weights as a result but need to see more.
Fair 7f winner for Wlliam Muir & Chris Grassick as a juvenile. Off for 11 months ahead of return for new connections. Watching brief the percentage call unless the market vibes are notably strong.
Just second start for this yard when second of 8 in handicap at Ayr (6f, good) 24 days ago. Type to be winning for this stable soon and contender if the outside stall isn't too big an inconvenience.
Four-time C&D winner. Twenty two runs since last win in 2021. Last of 6 in handicap at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) last time but he was a good third of 15 at York prior to that. Claims if turning up in the mood.
C&D winner under David Allan in July but has run poorly on both outings since. Allan seemingly prefers Bossipop this time.

Forecasts
Mark's Choice (2/1), Surprise Picture (11/2), Cottam Lane (13/2), Majeski Man (15/2), Bossipop (15/2), Khabib (17/2), Oso Rapido (9/1), Matty Too (18/1), Ben Macdui (50/1), Like A Lion (50/1)
BOSSIPOP is hardly one for maximum faith but this place has often brought out the best of him and he might be worth chancing having dropped to a mark in the 60s for the first time since making a winning handicap debut over C&D way back in 2016. Mark's Choice is another with excellent track form and rates an obvious threat. It's likely only a matter of time before Majeski Man strikes for Paul Midgley and he could also play a leading role if he can obtain a decent position from the outside stall.
