80/1

Fair maiden hurdler for Philip Hobbs but ran no sort of race on chase debut at Market Rasen last time and no surprise to see blinkers reapplied back hurdling here.

11/8

Promising type who opened his account in 14-runner handicap hurdle over C&D (good to soft) 42 days ago, readily. 7 lb higher now but could be more to come yet.

Form: 8239-21

Coup De Gold¹⁷²

Age: 6| Weight: 11-7| J: Peter Kavanagh⁽⁵⁾| T: D Thompson| OR: 93

8/1

Not scored since 2019 and hasn't been seen since below-par run at Carlisle in March.

Form: 222447-

Tokaramore^p¹⁶

Age: 10| Weight: 11-5| J: Miss Alisa McClung⁽⁷⁾| T: I Jardine| OR: 91| C

Ran respectably over fences here last month but turned in a poor effort at Perth since and needs to bounce back.

Form: 72-7535

Lone Star^t³³

Age: 5| Weight: 11-3| J: Ross Chapman| T: P A Kirby| OR: 89

40/1

Has shown a bit in bumpers/mares' events over hurdles but was disappointing on handicap debut at Perth last month and makes limited appeal.

Form: 4453-56

Kilchreest Moon³²

Age: 11| Weight: 11-1| J: Nick Scholfield| T: Henry Oliver| OR: 87| D

14/1

In good form in this sphere before making a winning start over fences at Newton Abbot (21f) in June. Disappointed at Stratford since but enters calculations back hurdling here.

Age: 8| Weight: 10-5| J: P W Wadge⁽⁷⁾| T: Miss L Harrison| OR: 77

125/1

Went off the boil for Gavin Cromwell in 2020 and little impact for current yard since returning from a lengthy absence in April. Cheekpieces back on.

Form: PP5379

New Zealander³³

Age: 5| Weight: 10-2| J: D R Fox| T: L Kerr| OR: 74

20/1

Winless following 15 attempts in this sphere and again finished well held at Perth last month.

Form: 6-48464

Hattaab^p¹⁶

Age: 9| Weight: 10-2| J: S Mulqueen| T: Miss L Harrison| OR: 73

66/1

Has plummeted in the weights since scoring at Worcester for Graeme McPherson last summer, but he's hard to warm to all the same given the lack of spark he's shown since joining this yard. 1 lb out of the handicap.

Form: FP-9P67

That's My Dubai⁴²

Age: 9| Weight: 10-2| J: C O'Farrell| T: J K Hunter| OR: 67

150/1

Catterick winner for Rebecca Menzies in January 2020 but offered very little for this yard last season and there was no signs of improvement on return from break here last month. 7 lb out of the handicap.

Forecasts

Ange Endormi (11/8), Calliope (4/1), Our Sam (7/1), Coup De Gold (8/1), Bintheredonethat (9/1), Kilchreest Moon (14/1), Tokaramore (18/1), New Zealander (20/1), Rukwa (22/1), Lone Star (40/1), Hattaab (66/1), Filou Des Issards (80/1), A Place Apart (125/1), That's My Dubai (150/1)

ANGE ENDORMI had something in hand when scoring here last month and is fancied to follow up. Bintheredonethat and Kilchreest Moon may prove most troublesome.
