Winner on 2m Doncaster reappearance in April. Ran poorly next time but back on track when fourth of 6 in handicap at Ayr (13f, good to firm) last month. Back up in trip. Considered.

16/1, landed a first Flat win on turf in 5-runner Ripon handicap 25 days ago, suited by way race developed. 6 lb higher mark demands a bit more this time.
One win from 21 Flat runs. Sixteen runs since last win in 2020. Tailed-off last of 7 to Levitate in C&D handicap 35 days ago but he is largely reliable and could bounce back.
Runner-up at Ripon at startt of the month. Shaped as if still in form when seventh of 11 in handicap at Lingfield (2m, AW, 28/1) since, needing stiffer test.
Unseated rider in handicap at Goodwood (20.4f, good to firm, 125/1) 28 days ago. Back down in trip. Has dropped to a favourable mark and is worth keeping an eye on in the betting.
Latest win at Redcar in June. 7½ lengths third of 5 to Lord Caprio in handicap at Ripon ) 25 days ago. Ought to be thereabouts
C&D winner in July. Made effort earlier than ideal when seventh of 11 in handicap at Haydock (2m, good to firm) 19 days ago. Respected back here.
Made effort earlier than ideal when eighth (Levitate seventh) at Haydock (2m, good to firm, 9/1) 19 days ago. Good shout on his near miss at Doncaster prior to that. Cheekpieces back on. Shortlisted.
Fair maiden. Second of 4 in handicap (7/2) at Chester (14.5f, good) 7 weeks ago. Well worth this first attempt over 2m. Another to consider.

Levitate (9/4), The Predictor (11/4), Mister Camacho (11/2), Lord Caprio (9/1), Spantik (11/1), Hellenista (12/1), Riggsby (14/1), Sophar Sogood (16/1), Tendentious (18/1), Carlos Felix (25/1)
THE PREDICTOR and Levitate can both probably be forgiven lesser efforts in the same Haydock race last time (went for home too soon) and might be the pair to focus on as 3-y-os against largely exposed and older opposition. The former's close second to the progressive Mostly Cloudy at Doncaster on his penultimate start suggests he should have a race in him from this sort of mark so he gets the vote. Tendentious may prove best of the remainder.
