5-time chase winner at Cartmel who ran best race of present campaign back in cheekpieces when third over 21f there last month, forcing pace and fading only late on. Well held on the Flat at Carlisle since but this represents a drop in class so he's respected.

Well suited by quick ground when opening chase account at Hereford last year and booked for third when fell heavily at the last at Stratford in May. Presumably having a pipe-opener back hurdling at Bangor last month so she merits consideration back over fences/down to last winning mark.

Opened his account on the back of another wind operation over C&D in April and followed up there 3 weeks later. Possibly unsuited by the track when tailed-off last at Cartmel (17.3f) a couple of months ago and he may well bounce back returned to this venue.

Arrives in the form of his life, completing a hat-trick over hurdles (first 2 wins over fences) at Market Rasen just over 3 weeks ago. Back over the larger obstacles today and sure to be popular in his bid for a 4-timer.

Modest hurdler who, having edged down the weights, landed a Market Rasen handicap (for the second year running) last month. Ran too badly to be true at Bangor since and hopes pinned on a switch back over the larger obstacles sparking a revival.

Verdict

At the likely prices it could be worth siding with LOST IN MONTMARTRE. Alastair Ralph's mare was presumably having a pipe-opener over hurdles at Bangor last month and back down to her last winning mark today, she could be ready to strike. Cawthorne is sure to be popular in his bid for a 4-timer. Cartmel specialist Tonto's Spirit is third on the list.
