C&D winner. Twenty runs since last win in 2021 but he has gone close off higher marks than this in recent months and he ought to find this a bit easier than the C&D Class 4 he contested last time.
Came good at Beverley in June and added to his tally over C&D (good) 7 days ago, keeping on well. 5 lb penalty is unlikely to prevent another bold bid.
C&D winner. Sixteen runs since last win in 2020. Fifth of 6 in handicap at Catterick (6f, good to soft, 20/1) 22 days ago. First-time visor needs to make a difference.
Thrice-raced maiden. 28/1, fourth of 11 in maiden at Ayr (6f, good) 20 days ago. Makes handicap debut. Less exposed than the rest of this opposition and interesting to see if there's any confidence behind him in the betting.
Winner at Beverley in May. Creditable second of 8 in handicap (11/1) at Wolverhampton (6f) 12 days ago. Likely to be in the shake-up.
Remains a maiden after 17 Flat runs but she did respond well to first-time cheekpieces (retained) when second of 10 in handicap at Catterick (5f, good to firm, 6/1) 9 days ago. Claims if in the same form.
Thirty runs since last win in 2017. 12/1, 4¼ lengths eighth of 12 to Aconcagua Mountain in classified event at Redcar (5f, good to firm) 18 days ago. Looks competitive on form.
Poor maiden on balance. Visored first time, 3 lengths seventh of 12 to Aconcagua Mountain in classified event at Redcar (5f, good to firm, 40/1) 18 days ago.

Forecasts
Canaria Prince (3/1), Mrs Bagerran (16/5), Tanasoq (7/2), Aconcagua Mountain (9/2), Primo (8/1), Abel Handy (17/2), Koropick (10/1), Pacopash (12/1), Bonito Cavalo (16/1)
CANARIA PRINCE has a much more solid recent record than the majority of these and might prove up to defying a penalty for last week's C&D success. Tanasoq is quite a classy sort for a 0-55 and it would be no surprise were he to make more of an impact than of late. Mrs Bagerran is also respected after a good run last time, while Jim Goldie handicap newcomer Bonito Cavalo is one to monitor in the betting.
