Twice-raced colt. 11/2, better effort when third of 11 in maiden at this course (7f, good) 14 days ago, doing too much too soon. Should win a race.

Forecasts

Hiawatha (5/4), Sea Legend (4/1), Fleetfoot (9/2), Covent Garden (17/2), Valiant King (10/1), Hippodrome (11/1), Lygon Street (11/1), Jalo (125/1), Hialeah (125/1)

Verdict

An above-average maiden, and it might be worth taking a chance on SEA LEGEND, who ran to a high level here on debut 8 weeks ago, and is bound to improve. Hiawatha has shown a similar level both starts and is the choice of Ryan Moore, while Hippodrome, a stablemate of Hiawatha, was a very expensive buy and is another one much respected.
