Consistent front runner who has hit the frame at this course the last twice. Back up in trip and another solid showing is on the cards.
Improved over hurdles last season and continued his good form onto the Flat, winning at Chepstow in May and this course in June. Disappointing at Newmarket last time but possibly just a blip.
Landed a quick-fire double in May but has disappointed at this course since. Up in trip, but hard to make a strong case for.
Has dropped a long way in the weights and has been showing better signs, notably when third at Galway last time. Solid claims at a track where these connections have enjoyed plenty of success.
Scored at Musselburgh in May but seemed to be found out by a small rise at Catterick next time. Off 45 days since, but others are more persuasive.
Hasn't had much racing and, while he's not improving as yet, he shaped like this longer trip would suit when third at Lingfield last time. Definite player with the potential to do better.
Scored here in July and has held his form since, second at Carlisle (albeit no match for the winner) 11 days ago. One to consider for all his stamina is in doubt somewhat.
Scored at Pontefract in June and was back to form at a big price when third at Carlisle last time. Hard to rely on and out of the weights here though.

Forecasts
The Gadget Man (7/4), Emiyn (4/1), Mancini (4/1), Mister Camacho (5/1), Call My Bluff (6/1), Cogital (8/1), The New Marwan (10/1), Heart Of Soul (14/1), Bollin Neil (16/1), Overhaugh Street (18/1)
THE GADGET MAN hasn't had much racing and promises to be well suited by the step up in trip, so he's preferred to fellow 3-y-o Mister Camacho in a wide-open handicap. Mancini, who ran well at the Galway Festival last time, is the pick of the older horses.
