A case can be made for most of these but the most persuasive one is for CASTAN who had a bit left in the tank when scoring from Gemcutter at Musselburgh and still looks ahead of his mark despite taking a 6 lb rise. Brian Ellison's filly has since gone in at Beverley and again rates the chief threat ahead of top-weight Match Play and the Karl Burke-trained duo Al Hitmi and Kodi Dancer.
