Won 3 out of his 6 starts this year (in cheekpieces), latest at Nottingham (6f) in June. Nearest at the finish when third at Epsom 5 weeks ago and no reason why he won't give another good account.
Fairly useful sort who had much the best form and duly capitalised to open his account in Lingfield novice (7f, AW) 3 weeks ago, just needing to be kept up to work. Interesting connections drop him back to sprinting and he's one to consider.
Yarmouth novice winner (6f) at 2 yrs who has stepped up with each outing this term, posting a career-best effort to land a C&D handicap 2 weeks ago, hitting the line strongly. 6 lb higher in this stronger race but unlikely she's reached her limit.
Dual AW winner at 7f for Alan King who stopped very quickly (reportedly bled) when last of 9 at Leicester on sole start for Kevin Philippart de Foy in April. Market should guide on debut for new yard given he has gone well fresh previously. Hood fitted.
Fared best of those held up when fifth in 20-runner York handicap (6f) in July and similar form despite finishing fourth of 5 at Pontefract (6f) 3 weeks ago. 3-3 on the Rowley Mile course and he's not discounted for each-way purposes.
5-y-o who ran creditably in handicaps here/Chelmsford at 7f but readily put in his place when race began in earnest when fourth of 7 in handicap at Sandown (7f, good) 22 days ago. Blinkers may put an extra edge on him now and booking of Buick catches the eye.
Back to form in change of headgear (blinkered) to score at Southwell (6f) in April. Mixed bag since, seventh of 8 in handicap at Yarmouth (6f, good to firm) 9 days ago, and no easy task here from well out of the weights.

Forecasts
Counsel (2/1), Wajd (11/4), Prince Of Bel Lir (4/1), Equiano Springs (9/2), Beauty Choice (8/1), Aleatoric (20/1), Letmelivemylife (28/1), Jack Ryan (66/1)
COUNSEL got the job done with minimum fuss when opening his account in a Lingfield novice (7f) 3 weeks ago and could be the way to go now his sights are set on sprinting. 3-y-o Wajd looks the chief threat having scored in good style over C&D recently, ahead of Prince of Bel Lir.
