Greenroad¹⁶

Age: 2| Weight: 9-6| J: Harry Russell⁽³⁾| T: B Ellison| OR: 68| CD

10/3

Camacho filly who looked well-served by drop back in trip/front-running tactics when off the mark in a C&D novice 16 days ago, in command final 1f. Should give another good account under a penalty.

Parr Fire³⁴

Age: 2| Weight: 9-6| J: Rowan Scott| T: N Tinkler| OR: 77| D

12/1

Speedily-bred filly who overcame inexperience to make a winning debut at Doncaster (5f) in May. However, she struggled to land a blow under a penalty over C&D next time and never figured on nursery debut at Ascot 5 weeks ago. Bounce back called for.

Beautiful Aisling⁵⁵

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: P J McDonald| T: S & E Crisford| OR: 84

2/5

£120,000 breeze-up purchase who found only one too good on each of her first 2 starts in 5f novice/maiden events in May. Similar form when eleventh of 16 in the Albany at Royal Ascot and she's an obvious player returned to calmer waters.

Form: 220

(3)

Cotai Pearl⁸⁹

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: G Lee| T: B Smart

9/1

Cotai Glory filly. Sister to 2-y-o 6.5f/7f winner Cotai Hero. Promising start when runner-up in a Musselburgh novice (5f) in April, pulling clear of rest despite obvious greenness. Thirsk effort in May was disappointing on the back of that but she's been given a break.

Form: 29

(1)

Ladywantaway³

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: S H James| T: R Fell & S Murray

50/1

Showed speed but ultimately finished well held on debut in Thirsk maiden (5f) in July and, turned out quickly, she ran below that level when last of 8 in a Ripon novice (5f) 3 days ago. Passed over here.

Forecasts

Beautiful Aisling (2/5), Greenroad (10/3), Cotai Pearl (9/1), Parr Fire (12/1), Ladywantaway (50/1)

Having finished runner-up on her first 2 starts, BEAUTIFUL AISLING ran to a similar level without featuring upped markedly in grade in the Albany at Royal Ascot. Given a break since, she can come out on top returned to calmer waters. Greenroad, who improved for the switch to front-running tactics to score over C&D a fortnight ago, is the danger.
