Fortunate winner here early last season and seeming retains no enthusiasm nowadays, failing to complete on each of his last 4 starts. Easily passed over.

Zoffalee^t³⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-11| J: Aaron Anderson⁽⁵⁾| T: M E Sowersby| OR: 112

6/1

Runner-up on each of his last 3 starts, performing up to his recent best when seconf in 10-runner Southwell handicap 34 days ago. Jumping and attitude aren't always convincing but he can be inolved if putting his best foot forward.

Form: U3-3222

Railway Muice^p,t⁴³

Age: 9| Weight: 11-9| J: Jay Tidball⁽⁷⁾| T: Mrs S J Humphrey| OR: 110| CD

4/1

Won 4 times last season (including over C&D) after joining this yard from Ireland but two outings this summer have been less promising, so bounce back is required.

Form: 351-436

Kinondo Kwetu¹¹²

Age: 6| Weight: 11-6| J: Jonathan England| T: S England| OR: 107

9/4

Unbeaten in 2 starts in points and progressed over hurdles last term, quickening to get off the mark at Stratford on final start last season. Type to improve over fences and rates a player on chase debut.

Form: 1/47221-

Eureu Du Boulay^t,v²¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-4| J: Philip Armson⁽⁵⁾| T: R Hobson| OR: 105| CD

11/4

C&D winner showed a return to form when second at Stratford 21 days ago. Remains well treated on best form and isn't discounted from same mark.

Form: 36-P472

Kauto D'Amour⁴²

Age: 7| Weight: 10-8| J: Thomas Willmott⁽³⁾| T: J Parkinson & S Smith| OR: 95

11/1

Out of sorts over hurdles and has looked fairly reluctant when faced with a fence so far, pulled up long way out at Hexham last time. Can't be fancied on any recent evidence.

Form: 6F760-P

Forecasts

Kinondo Kwetu (9/4), Eureu Du Boulay (11/4), Railway Muice (4/1), Zoffalee (6/1), Ted's Friend (13/2), Royal Village (9/1), Moans Cross (10/1), Kauto D'Amour (11/1)

Dual-winning pointer KINONDO KWETU was steadily progressive over hurdles last season and should improve further over fences, so can make a winning chase debut. Zoffallee is a tricky customer but has been in decent heart of late, whilst Eureu du Boulay is on an eye-catching mark if able to back up his recent Stratford second.
