Dandy Man colt who made an encouraging start when third of 6 in minor event at Pontefract (6f, good, 28/1) 29 days ago. This is a very tough ask though.
6f Newbury debut maiden winner and by no means disgraced over 7f in the Chesham at Royal Ascot and Superlative at Newmarket since. Respected.
Pivotal colt who bids for a hat-trick after novice wins at Carlisle (6f) and Beverley (7.4f), readily making all on latter occasion. Should progress further so he can't be ruled out.
Son of Gleneagles who has looked a very useful prospect in readily landing 7f novices at Haydock and Ayr. Has more to offer and is in the picture.
2/1, built on debut promise when comfortably bagging 4-runner maiden here (6f) 39 days ago. Should improve further, especially upped to 7f, and needs considering.
Ulysses colt who made a striking debut when 40/1 winner of Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot (7f) by length from Pearling Path, showing a good turn of foot. Clearly a very bright prospect and he's the one to beat.
4/1, confirmed debut promise when cosy winner of 5f novice at Leicester in April. Takes a big step up in trip after his break with plenty more to find.
Oasis Dream colt who has improved with each of his three runs, stylish winner of novices at Nottingham (6f) and Salisbury (7f). Not discounted in his hat-trick bid with more progress on the cards.
Ready Newbury novice winner before posting excellent third to Persian Force in July Stakes at Newmarket (6f) 19 days ago. Son of Dark Angel can't be ruled out now stepping up to 7f for the first time.

Forecasts
Holloway Boy (11/8), Mysterious Night (9/2), Dear My Friend (5/1), Dornoch Castle (6/1), Galeron (10/1), Marbaan (14/1), Dark Thirty (16/1), Dandy Man Shines (40/1), Jiffy Boy (80/1)
Lots of potential on show but HOLLOWAY BOY became the first debutant to score at Royal Ascot since 1996 when readily landing the Chesham and Karl Burke's exciting son of Ulysses sets a high standard here. Charlie Appleby's July Stakes third Mysterious Night should prove suited by stepping up in trip and is next on the list ahead of the unbeaten Dornoch Castle and hat-trick seeking Marbaan.
