Close third in this last year though was seen to maximum advantage. Ended losing run in 3-runner listed race at Leicester in April but struggled in a couple of Group 3s since. Others preferred despite good course record.

Did well last term, winning Group 2/3s over 7f, including this race. As good as ever judged on his 2 efforts in defeat this year, close third to Pogo at Haydock on return before beaten under 2 lengths in Platinum Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot. Another bold showing looks on the cards.
Excellent placed efforts in a couple of Group 2s last term and just edged out by Pogo in Group 3 at Haydock on return. Disappointed behind him at Newmarket but quickly back on track in this headgear when coming from last to win listed race at Chester 17 days ago, form boosted at the weekend.
Smart front runner though evidence suggests he's better on AW and probably not good enough in any case.
Grand servant who made all in Group 3 at Haydock in May, just holding on from Laneqash. Better than ever when pulling off similar tactics under a penalty in Criterion Stakes at Newmarket following month and likely to make another bold bid.
Winner of this race in 2018 and 2019 before fifth in 2020 for David Elsworth. Off for almost 2 years but showed he retains most of his ability when second off a mark of 103 in handicap at Pontefract on second start back 3 weeks ago but will find this much tougher.
Classy 3-y-o, successful in the Nell Gwyn and Hungerford Stakes over this trip. Got going just a shade too late when beaten under a length in Platinum Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot (6f) on belated return 38 days ago. Remains relatively lightly raced and back over her ideal distance now.
Had a highly productive 2-y-o campaign, the highlight being his victory in a valuable sales race at the York Ebor meeting. Smart performance to win Epsom listed race last month but was 4 lengths behind Pogo in Criterion Stakes at Newmarket next time and 5 lb worse off with that rival here.
Useful 5f winner at 2 yrs who returned with excellent fourth of 6 to Perfect Power in Greenham Stakes at Newbury (7f). Disappointed in listed race at Newmarket soon after, however, and has it all to do here back from a break/gelding op.
Dual Group 2 winner over 6f at 2 yrs, including the Gimcrack at York. Further improvement this season, only just denied in St James's Palace at Royal Ascot (seen to maximum effect) before third in Prix Jean Prat at Deauville. Needs considering up against older horses for the first time.
Won her first 3 starts, notably the Albany, and the Duchess of Cambridge. Good efforts in 3 Group 1s upped to 1m this term, 2¾ lengths third of 5 to Prosperous Voyage in Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket latest. Down in class now but still has a bit to find taking on the males.

Forecasts
Sacred (9/4), Kinross (4/1), Lusail (4/1), Pogo (6/1), Laneqash (9/1), Sandrine (12/1), Ever Given (16/1), Happy Power (28/1), Sir Dancealot (40/1), Gubbass (50/1), Lord Of The Lodge (200/1)
POGO arrives in the form of his life having defied a penalty in the Criterion at Newmarket and this prominent runner is likely to get a clear passage from stall 4. He shades the vote over Sacred, who shaped very well in the Platinum Jubilee at Royal Ascot on her belated return, with last year's winner Kinross and smart 3-y-o Lusail others to consider.
