Poor form in bumpers and hard to believe he'll make an impact on Flat debut.

No sign of promise on either outing to date. Set for another struggle.

Big price and only passed beaten rivals when fifth at Ripon on debut earlier in the month. Marked improvement required.

Improved after a gelding operation/10 weeks off when third of 7 in novice at Thirsk last month. Disappointing (looked awkward) there since, but can't be ruled out in this company.

Related to several winners but yet to offer any sign of ability. Hard to make a case for.

Fair form to date, having the run of things when third in a novice at Windsor last time. That was a much stronger race than this, however, and he looks the one to beat.

Promising start when a staying-on fifth in a novice at Doncaster a year ago. Has left Sir Michael Stoute and been gelded since, but he's still a likely improver and well worthy of a market check.

Forecasts

Wilkins (2/7), Positive Force (9/2), Yakhabar (5/1), Mister Charlie (66/1), Robin Goodfellow (100/1), Profiles Mix (100/1), Kirk House (200/1)

Verdict

WILKINS has the best form and is likely to get his own way in front, so he makes plenty of appeal in a thin race. Yakhabar offered encouragement on his debut at Doncaster and, despite being off a year (has also left Sir Michael Stoute), he's open to improvement, so he's a danger along with Positive Force if he can put a poor effort behind him.
