C&D winner who proved at least as good as ever when third in Royal Hunt Cup over C&D (good to firm) 38 days ago, running on. Sure to be in the mix with a repeat.
Carries his head awkwardly, though has looked more straightforward this year and ran up to his best to end a long losing run in 10-runner handicap at Salisbury (8f, good to firm) 31 days ago, leading post. Not an obvious type to follow up.
Won the Irish Cambridgeshire in this headgear last summer. Best effort this season when eight in Royal Hunt Cup over C&D last month but went like one who is on the cusp temperamentally. Subsequently sold out of Mrs J. Harrington's yard for 80,000 gns.
Much improved back in handicap company when winning 12-runner event at Haydock (7.2f, good) 21 days ago, just holding on. That form looks solid enough, and he's a player if first-time cheekpieces can eke out a bit more.
Won 7f course maiden in September on final 2-y-o start and looked unlucky when just failing in Britannia Stakes (C&D Handicap) at the Royal meeting last time. Hit with 8 lb rise but can gain compensation with good-value claimer now taking over in the saddle.
C&D winner who showed he retains all his ability when third in 12-runner handicap at Newmarket (8f, good to firm) on reappearance 16 days ago, doing his best work late on. Respected off same mark with that under his belt.
Low-mileage filly who built on her excellent effort at the Royal Meeting when going one better in a 10-runner event over C&D a fortnight ago. She's getting a run at her racing now and can go well again following a 4 lb rise.
Impressive 6-length winner of a C&D handicap on reappearance. Hasn't quite been able to reproduce that form in 3 outings subsequently, though he didn't seem entirely at home on the track at Newmarket last time, briefly seeming to lose action over 1f out.
4 wins from 17 runs this year, latest at Newmarket in April. However, ran below form in a useful handicap at the July Course 16 days ago and faces another stiff task from 3 lb out of the weights.
Novice/nursery winner as a juvenile over 7f and improved when a taking winner of a C&D handicap in May. Unable to land a blow in the Britannia but right back on track when third on the round course here 15 days ago, despite being left poorly placed. Must enter calculations.

Forecasts
Saga (7/4), Tempus (9/2), Atrium (13/2), Dubai Mirage (7/1), Random Harvest (8/1), Tacarib Bay (11/1), Bopedro (14/1), Power of Darkness (16/1), Repertoire (20/1), Coase (40/1)
SAGA looked unlucky when just failing in the Britannia Stakes (C&D Handicap) at the Royal Meeting last month and, with good-value claimer Benoit de la Sayette offsetting over half of the subsequent 8 lb rise, he's strongly fancied to gain compensation. Atrium has a run style that is ideally served by the straight track here, so he commands plenty of respect, while Tempus and Random Harvest complete the shortlist.
