Dropping in the weights without looking ready to take advantage, merely plugging on for fourth at Ascot last week. Needs a good pace to aim at kept to 7f.

Now 3 lb below last winning mark but this season has been a non-event so far, Last of 9 in handicap at Epsom (7f) 15 days ago.
|
Successful twice on AW/turf from higher marks last summer. Several respectable efforts this term but back over 7f, he was never a threat at Haydock a fortnight ago.
|
Back in calmer waters and didn't need to improve to win 5-runner maiden at Bath (8f, good to firm) 16 days ago, driven out. Should be a big factor back in a handicap taking on his elders.
|
On a lengthy losing run but good second of 9 in handicap at Wolverhampton (9.5f), not ideally placed. 11 lb higher back on turf, which probably is justified.

Forecasts
Zulu Tracker (4/9), Mr Tyrrell (11/2), Shuv H'penny King (8/1), Sir Titan (11/1), He's Our Star (14/1)
Having shed his maiden status at Bath 16 days ago, ZULU TRACKER is back in a handicap on a fair mark and taking on his elders for the first time, so he is the most persuasive option. He's Our Star's higher turf mark is justified and he can offer most resistance.
