Twice placed at Kempton in the winter before making a winning return after a wind op at Salisbury 16 days ago. Opening mark looks fair and the one to beat with more progress expected.
Showed a good attitude when producing a career best to score at Redcar last time, regaining the lead to see off one who had gone through the race better. Up 4 lb but fancied to go well again.
Three-time winner last season. Ran up to form when fourth behind Animato 21 days ago but looks fairly well summed up by mark at present.
Showed fair form in 3 novice events last year for Richard Fahey and could do better now handicapping having been gelded. Bred to improve for this longer trip.
Godolphin cast-off has run to fair level in maidens/minor events, most recently at Redcar last month, and appeals as the type to do better now handicapping.
Scored at Ripon in May but has looked in the grip of the handicapper in a pair of starts since. Needs step up in trip to bring about some improvement.
