Landed pair of 7f handicaps for Charlie Fellowes last season and all the better for return/yard debut when creditable third of 13 in handicap at Ayr (7.2f, soft, 13/2) 47 days ago. Possibilities with any further easing in the ground a likely plus.
Sixteen runs since last win in 2019. Twelfth of 13 in handicap (11/1) at Wetherby (1m, good) 27 days ago, beaten over 1f out. Has fallen to a very handy mark if he can leave that in his wake here.
Latest win at Hamilton in June. Fifth of 7 in handicap at Ayr (10f, good to soft, 7/2) 17 days ago, hanging left over 1f out and carrying head a little awkwardly. Still, he's not discounted for each-way purposes here.
Matched previous best this year when fifth of 12 at Thirsk (1m) in May but not in same form fitted with a hood when eleventh of 16 in handicap at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) 22 days ago, finding little. Others more persuasive.
Showed improved form when making a winning return at Redcar (7f) last summer and not disgraced when fifth of 10 in handicap back at that venue around a year ago. Remains low-mileage so he could be worth a look back from another absence.
Course winner who has been knocking firmly on the door in recent weeks, good second of 8 in handicap at Musselburgh (9f, good to firm, 9/4) 5 days ago, clear of rest. Has to be worth a look with yard in red-hot form.
Well handicapped on past efforts but doesn't appear to have returned in much form this year.
Newmarket novice win (7f) last autumn something of a standout as a 2-y-o but she has at least got back on track on 2 of his 3 starts in handicaps this term, fourth of 7 in handicap (14/1) at Lingfield (10f, AW) 30 days ago. Ease in trip may help. Cheekpieces on.
Course winner. Seventh of 9 in handicap at Haydock (10.2f, good to firm, 14/1) 16 days ago, possibly taxed by the 10f trip. Drop back to 1m should help now and the assessor continues to relinquish his grip.
Inconsistent maiden who was below best when ninth of 12 in handicap at Newcastle (10.2f) in March. Probably best watched here on the back of a wind op/with cheekpieces now left off.
Lightly-raced maiden who shaped well when fifth of 13 on return/handicap at Redcar (6f, good to firm) 16 days ago, nearest finish. Less exposed than most he meets here and interesting up in trip.

Forecasts
Poet's Dawn (15/8), Sydney Bay (4/1), Safran (13/2), Rainbow Colours (8/1), Deputy (17/2), Havana Party (12/1), Sandret (12/1), Indy Moon (16/1), Hear Me Roar (20/1), Going Underground (33/1), Greek Kodiac (50/1)
SYDNEY BAY is one of the least exposed and very much caught the eye when fifth on return/handicap debut over 6f at Redcar 16 days ago, staying on to be nearest at the finish. He's one to be interested in on that evidence and gets the nod up in trip. Poet's Dawn is knocking on the door and is feared, along with the returning Hear Me Roar, who scored on his reappearance run last season.
