Turned in best effort of last season despite failing to impress with the way he went through the race when runner-up at Exeter in March. Just 1 lb higher now and is one of the likelier contenders on first start since leaving Alan Jones.
Little show in handicaps for Richard James Daniels but has made frame on 2 of 4 starts in Irish points, runner-up last time (May 1). Still needs more on first start for his new yard.
Selling winner at Leicester in November. Patchy form at best since (including over fences) and he ran no sort of race back down in trip at Worcester a fortnight ago. Continues to tumble in the weights.
Partnered by this jockey for the first time when scoring over C&D last month and doubled his tally on the back of a 6 lb rise there a fortnight later, winning by nearly twice as far under another confident ride. Handicapper had a swipe but must be respected in his current mood.
Over 3 years since last win and having ran poorly on his return to action at Wolverhampton in May, added to his patchy record over obstacles when coming down at the last at Hexham (16.2f, good) last month. Back up in trip but tough to support with confidence.
Just the one blip from 4 starts in handicaps so far, bouncing back after a longer break when third at Stratford 19 days ago. Fancied to be in the mix again.
Runner-up on bumper debut in May 2021 (for Ben Pauling), but yet to better poor form over hurdles for this yard, finishing runner-up on his last couple of starts. Tongue tie back on and he may well go close.
Finally shed maiden tag when landing a handicap hurdle at Kelso (20.8f) in October. However, he has followed that with a string of poor efforts (pulled up on last 3 outings) which makes him very hard to warm to.

Forecasts
Dellboy Trotter (5/4), Landacre Bridge (3/1), Doors Breaker (9/2), Mac Suibhne (10/1), Good Bye (12/1), Charle Brune (16/1), Monarchofthegrange (18/1), Red Ochre (22/1)
A quick-fire C&D hat-trick beckons for DELLBOY TROTTER, who has developed a fine partnership with this jockey and, given the manner of his victory 16 days ago, a 9 lb rise in the weights may not be enough to anchor Tracey Leeson's charge. Landacre Bridge rates as the main threat having filled the runner-up spot on his last couple of starts, with Good Bye another to consider on first start for Sara Ender. .
