Winner of two of his three starts on the Flat in France in 2018, but subsequently unraced in this sphere and more miss than hit over hurdles since joining present yard late last year.
Came good for new yard during second half of 2021, scoring over 1¼m here prior to following up at Catterick (1½m). Wasn't beaten far upped to 18.6f back here last month and this trip could prove ideal.
Irish maiden winner in 2020, but record in this sphere is patchy and it's been a similar story over hurdles since joining Donald McCain. Others make greater appeal.
Very capable stayer for David Simcock, bagging handicaps at Kempton and Newmarket last summer. However, he ran no sort of a race with the hood refitted (discarded here) on return/debut for new yard at Pontefract.
Opened his account at Chelmsford in April and, though winless following nine attempts on turf, he has put in good shifts at Ripon (1½m) and Musselburgh (2m) the last twice. Unexposed at this trip and a bold show likely.
Dual purpose performer who scored over hurdles in January. Turned in a lacklustre display back in this sphere with a tongue strap enlisted (retained) in the Chester Plate (18.6f), but will be a threat if able to bounce back with cheekpieces refitted.
Rather hit-and-miss since striking at Wolverhampton (1¾m) in December, but he's now 2 lb below that winning mark and boasts a healthy strike rate on turf (5-19). Not discounted.
Winner of just one of his 19 starts, namely an AW maiden back in September 2020, and looks up against it from 8 lb out of the handicap here.

Baileys Derbyday (13/8), Emiyn (5/2), Hydroplane (9/2), Winklevi (7/1), Fandabidozi (16/1), Indigo Times (28/1), Lignou (28/1), Danger Money (33/1)
BAILEYS DERBYDAY went close on his sole previous visit here last season and, having lost little caste in defeat when chasing home the progressive Evaluation upped to this trip at Musselburgh recently, he could be the answer. The 4-y-o may have most to fear from Emiyn, who performed with plenty of credit when fourth in the Chester Plate last month. Winklevi is also worth a second look.
