Some creditable efforts at up to 21f this spring before recording first win over fences at Southwell last month. Backed that up with a good second over C&D 4 weeks ago. Another prominent showing is on the cards.
Dual hurdles winner who finally came good over fences with back-to-back wins at Doncaster (3m) this spring. Creditable third from out of the handicap at Uttoxeter 22 days ago.
Going right way over fences, making it 2 wins in his last 3 starts when forging clear at Uttoxeter (3m) 3 weeks ago. 6 lb rise may not stop him with further improvement likely.
Not in quite such good form as his third and second on his last 2 starts might indicate (beaten 17 lengths by Larry Looby at Hexham latterly). Brian Hughes takes the ride again but others are still preferred for win purposes.
Finally off the mark under Rules when seeing off the reopposing Good Man Vinnie by 17 lengths at Hexham 13 days ago. Raised 11 lb but contender if in a similar mood this afternoon.
Fair maiden hurdler who was placed twice over hurdles in summer 2020 but wasn't seen again until a well-held fifth in Southwell handicap hurdle 31 days ago. Plenty to prove back chasing.
Opened her account in 27f Sedgefield handicap chase in April and only just denied at Hexham the following month. Tongue tied first time here. Few miles on the clock and of interest again.
At the veteran stage but showed there's still plenty of life in his legs with 3m Warwick win under Kevin Brogan last month. The form has been boosted so a 3 lb nudge looks fair. Consistency isn't necessarily his strong suit these days, though.
Reacted positively to cheekpieces when winning handicap at Catterick (25f) on New Year's Day. Below that level in 2 runs at Hexham this spring, although he did hint at a revival when ridden too aggressively latterly.

Forecasts
Oceans Red (7/2), Well Cliche (4/1), Loughermore (11/2), Larry Looby (6/1), High Counsel (15/2), Good Man Vinnie (8/1), Tumbling Dice (10/1), Lough Salt (12/1), Simply Mani (20/1)
OCEANS RED is a young chaser heading in the right direction and might be able to make light of a further 6 lb rise in his mark and land a third success in his last 4 starts. Well Cliche is another who is going the right way and is feared most. The 13-y-o High Counsel isn't the most reliable but he does retain handicapping scope up 3 lb for Warwick as that form has been boosted.
