Moans Cross²³²

Age: 8| Weight: 11-6| J: Mitchell Bastyan| T: D G Bridgwater| OR: 93

14/1

Scored at Fontwell in September but off 7 months since coming in last of 5 in handicap chase at Plumpton (25.7f). Needs a couple of these to falter.

Form: P4/4P15-

Ben Buie^v¹⁵

Age: 8| Weight: 11-4| J: S Bowen| T: M Keighley| OR: 91

5/1

Dual winner last season who came in only fair third of 4 in handicap chase at Southwell (15.8f) 15 days ago. Visor back on and not dismissed off a reduced mark.

Form: 113-563

Kilchreest Moon¹⁹

Age: 11| Weight: 11-0| J: Nick Scholfield| T: Henry Oliver| OR: 87

10/3

Two-time hurdling winner last season. Posted another good effort when second of 8 in handicap hurdle at Ffos Las (20f) 19 days ago, so he's much respected on his belated chase debut.

Form: 2761-32

Dell Oro^b1¹³

Age: 9| Weight: 10-13| J: Kevin Jones| T: M F Harris| OR: 86| BF

3/1

Fifteen runs since last win in 2019, and on first run since leaving Daniel Steele he came in last of 4 in handicap chase at Fontwell (19.5f) 13 days ago. Blinkered for 1st time with plenty to prove.

Form: 68P47-4

Old Harry Rocks^p³⁵

Age: 10| Weight: 10-10| J: Roisin Leech⁽⁷⁾| T: Mrs S Leech| OR: 83| CD

11/1

C&D winner but he was pulled up in handicap chase at Huntingdon (19.9f, good) 35 days ago. Needs to get back on track.

Form: 23435-P

Caro Des Flos^p1³⁰

Age: 10| Weight: 10-8| J: Thomas Bellamy| T: J S Smith| OR: 81

15/2

Form: 85P4-5P

Broughtons Rhythm¹⁶

Age: 13| Weight: 10-3| J: Mr Peter Summers⁽⁷⁾| T: L Hurley| OR: 76

28/1

Twenty runs since last win in 2017, and below-par fifth of 8 in handicap chase at Wincanton (20.2f) 83 days ago. Hard to make a case for.

Form: 26575-2

Treacys Jim^p1⁴⁸

Age: 8| Weight: 10-2| J: Angus Cheleda⁽⁵⁾| T: J D Frost| OR: 69

10/1

Remains a maiden after 16 runs, and he came in last of 3 in novice chase here 48 days ago. Cheekpieces on for first time and hard to fancy from 6 lb out of the handicap.

Form: P645P-3

Forecasts

Dell Oro (3/1), Kilchreest Moon (10/3), Ben Buie (5/1), Heronord (15/2), Caro Des Flos (15/2), Treacys Jim (10/1), Old Harry Rocks (11/1), Moans Cross (14/1), Broughtons Rhythm (28/1)

HERONORD wasn't seen to best effect when fourth at Ffos Las and can gain his breakthrough win with this return to a longer trip also a plus. Ben Blue is weighted to have a say, especially with the visor back on, while in-form hurdler Kilchreest Moon can't be discounted either on his first go over fences.
