Tommy G¹²

Age: 9| Weight: 9-9| J: P Mulrennan| T: J S Goldie| OR: 74| C

17/2

Seven-time course winner. Latest win at Musselburgh in May. 9/1, tenth of 11 in handicap at Musselburgh (7.2f, good to firm) 12 days ago, not knocked about. Significantly back up in trip.

Form: 0-05140

(2)

Busby^p³⁸

Age: 7| Weight: 9-5| J: Billy Garritty| T: P A Kirby| OR: 70

11/1

Latest win at Wolverhampton in March. 10/1, seventh of 8 in handicap at Newcastle (10.2f) 38 days ago. Equally effective on turf and overall profile suggests he'll bounce back.

Form: 1-51327

(7)

Havana Party^p¹⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 9-3| J: Ryan Sexton⁽⁵⁾| T: I Jardine| OR: 68

7/2

15/8, won 7-runner handicap at Hamilton (9.2f, good) 15 days ago, pushed out. 4 lb rise may not prevent the follow up.

Form: 697-021

(5)

Royal Regent^p³⁰

Age: 10| Weight: 9-2| J: P Mathers| T: R M Smith| OR: 67| CD

11/2

Recorded fourth C&D win on reappearance a month ago, shaken up to assert and ultimately well on top. Handicapper reacted with 8 lb rise but this veteran is clearly in good order.

Form: 31534-1

(1)

Red Bond^v1⁵²

Age: 6| Weight: 9-0| J: Callum Rodriguez| T: K Dalgleish| OR: 65| D

8/1

Twenty runs since last win in 2020. Tongue strap on for first time, fourth of 7 in handicap at this C&D (good, 4/1) 52 days ago. Visor on 1st time and he's on a dangerous mark but clearly comes with risks attached.

Form: 583-284

(4)

Flying Moon¹⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 8-6| J: Andrew Breslin⁽³⁾| T: R M Smith| OR: 57| CD

4/1

Travelled with plenty of zest when winning 9-runner handicap (14/1) at this C&D (good to firm) 18 days ago, pushed out. Retains handicap scope on old form.

Form: 634-371

Forecasts

Molinari (11/4), Havana Party (7/2), Flying Moon (4/1), Royal Regent (11/2), Red Bond (8/1), Tommy G (17/2), Busby (11/1)

HAVANA PARTY isn't straightforward but was value for a bit extra when successful at Hamilton a fortnight ago and with a good-value claimer taking over, further success may well be forthcoming. Flying Moon and Royal Regent also won last time and they head the opposition.
