10/11

In the form of her life last month, scoring at York and over C&D. Shaped as if still in good form when fifth in Zetland Gold Cup at Redcar but saw her effort petering out somewhat back up in trip at York 5 days ago. Fancied to be bang there back down to this trip.

11/2 and blinkered for 1st time, better than ever after 8 months off when winning 6-runner handicap at Chepstow (10f, good to firm) 20 days ago, suited by way race developed. 5 lb rise to contend with but expected to feature once again.

Course winner. Fourteen runs since last win in 2020. Returned to form with a career-best effort when second of 7 in handicap at Bath (8f, good to firm, 5/1) 13 days ago, clear of rest. Back up in trip. Gone close several times from higher marks than this so may well feature.

Form was up and down on turf last term but resurgent on all-weather this winter, gaining third victory at Wolverhampton (9.5f) in February. However he's shaped as if amiss on his last couple of outings (latest over C&D) so has a bit to prove all of a sudden.

Forecasts

Bollin Joan (10/11), Urban War (10/3), Commonsensical (4/1), Cosmos Raj (10/1), Society Red (16/1)

A tricky contest to unravel despite the small field but 4-time course winner BOLLIN JOAN is selected to come out on top having taken her form up a notch in recent weeks. Commonsensical looked better than ever when making a winning reappearance on first start for Hugo Palmer last month so he can give the selection most to think about, with Urban War third choice.
