16/1

Won novice event at Aintree and Rowland Meyrick Chase at Wetherby in 2020/21 but below par since falling in 2021 Grand National, including on debut for this yard in April.

Form: P7745-6

No No Maestro^b1,t¹⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 11-12| J: P J Brennan| T: F O'Brien| OR: 117| C

4/1

Completed hat-trick between July and October (2 wins here) last year and shaped as if retaining all his ability when runner-up in a Worcester novice hurdle last month. Just a fair effort over fences last time and now up in trip in change of headgear.

Form: 2111-23

Premier D'troice^p⁴²

Age: 8| Weight: 11-9| J: Benjamin Poste| T: Katy Price| OR: 114| D

9/2

Hurdles/chase scorer who has dropped a long way in the weights over latter set of obstacles. Stuck at it for second at Fontwell last month and he should be a factor at this level.

Form: 53434-2

Daranova^p²²

Age: 8| Weight: 11-9| J: K Brogan| T: G Hanmer| OR: 114

7/4

Confirmed excellent start for new yard when following up his Bangor win over same C&D 3 weeks ago. Further 4 lb rise won't prevent very bold hat-trick bid.

Form: 362U-11

Eureu Du Boulay^p,t¹⁵

Age: 8| Weight: 11-5| J: Philip Armson⁽⁵⁾| T: R Hobson| OR: 110

12/1

Revived back in headgear when landing 3m Market Rasen handicap chase in April 2021. Patchy form since and isn't necessarily crying out for this trip.

Form: 1/736-P4

Game Line^b⁴³

Age: 8| Weight: 11-2| J: James Bowen| T: P & M Bowen| OR: 107| BF| D

4/1

Tumbling in the weights without really looking ready to cash in, weakening quickly trying to win a Fakenham handicap again last month.

Form: 83PP4-6

Forecasts

Daranova (7/4), No No Maestro (4/1), Game Line (4/1), Premier D'troice (9/2), Eureu Du Boulay (12/1), Canelo (16/1), Delight Of Dubai (33/1)

DARANOVA has been transformed by cheekpieces in recent weeks and a further 4 lb rise seems unlikely to stop the hat-trick against mainly out-of-form rivals. Premier d'Troice really ought to be a factor at this level, with No No Maestro another to note up in trip.
