Six-figure breeze-up buy who looked a good prospect when making a winning start in 6-runner novice at Leicester 15 days ago. Sure to leave bare form of that behind.

Shaped well on debut at Salisbury and turned out 16 days later, built on that when overcoming a troubled passage to score at Beverley 3 weeks ago. No surprise were he to progress again.

Continued theme of race-by-race progress when landing a Chester maiden equipped with a first-time visor in May. Upped in grade and was fairly readily brushed aside in the National Stakes at Sandown.

Bred to be very sharp and well backed, had a bit in hand when making a winning debut in 5f novice at Southwell (5f). Left that form well behind when second to a useful rival at Musselburgh and cheekpieces now on.

Put his experience to good use when landing 9-runner novice at Redcar a fortnight ago. No obvious reason to think he's capable of much better, though.

£160,000 Kodiac colt who was nicely on top when landing 5-runner maiden at Yarmouth. Turned out a week later but in top hands and yard did the same with 2016 winner of this race, Ardad.

Bred to stay well and kept on for third after a slow start at Musselburgh. Hard to see him making the necessary leap forward kept to the minimum trip.

Closely-related to Pearl Glory (placed in Group company as a 2-y-o) and would probably have made a winning start had he not dwelt/ran green at Windsor 16 days ago (6f). Drop to 5f isn't an obvious move.

Went close on debut at Windsor and subsequently landed the odds in a 5f Salisbury novice (form boosted by the second). Step up to 6f perhaps to blame for disappointing effort at Goodwood but a tongue tie now reached for.

Knew what was required and outclassed 6 rivals on debut at Lingfield (AW) in April. Wasn't fully extended to defy a penalty over same C&D and likely has a bigger effort in him.

Clearly derived plenty from his debut when a smooth winner of 6-runner novice at Yarmouth 15 days ago. Probably didn't beat a great deal but did it readily.

Ran to a high level for a newcomer when second at the Curragh in April. That form worked out well and he landed the odds with plenty in hand at Naas, recording a good timefigure in the process. Very much the one to beat.

Placed all 3 starts, just about recording best effort yet back at 5f when second of 10 at Tipperary. No reason to think he's much better than that level.

Plenty of speed in his pedigree and having finished runner-up on debut at Nottingham he outclassed 5 rivals at Goodwood a fortnight later.

€100,000Y: first foal: dam 7f winner out of useful 7f/1m winner One Spirit. Blinkered and showed plenty when head second of 7 to Cadillac Candy in maiden at Churchill Downs, leading until near line. Sure to improve and yard's runners always feared.

Woodcote a week after his debut may have come too soon but this is a very tough race to bounce back in.

Created a fine impression when winning at Bath and good second under a penalty at Ascot. Can't have been right at Beverley and likely to bounce back. Represents last year's winning connections.

€260,000 Showcasing colt. Took 4 goes to get off the mark, responding well under a positive ride at Navan 18 days ago. Wouldn't be open to as much improvement as some of these.

Very cheap yearling but came in for support and made a winning start in good style at Brighton, knowing what was required but doing it all very smoothly. Excelled herself when third in a York listed race since.

Clearly wasn't 100% at Chester and unbeaten aside from that, finding plenty for third win in the Hilary Needler at Beverley 18 days ago. Well worth a shot at this level.

Faultless start to her career, supplementing her Leicester win under a penalty in novice company at Chepstow. Likely has more to offer and looks the best of her sex in this.

Found a weak race to get off the mark at Hamilton a week ago and this a totally different assignment.

Not only is LITTLE BIG BEAR's form 10 lb+ clear of the opposition on Timeform ratings, he also has the scope for plenty of progress so there's no desire to look elsewhere. John Gosden used the same Yarmouth maiden won by Far Shot last week to introduce the 2016 winner of this race and he is feared, with Union Court completing the shortlist following a faultless start to her career.
