12/1

C&D winner. Last of 5 in handicap (6/5) at this C&D (good) 20 days ago. Clearly backed as though thought capable of much better and this will reveal more.

Form: 1020-05

13/2

6/1, fourth of 5 in handicap at Leicester (10f, soft) 15 days ago, very slowly away. Back up in trip and does need everything to fall right given he always starts slowly.

Form: 387-524

Better than ever when successful at Beverley in April. Turned in rare poor effort when last of 6 in handicap at Musselburgh (12.5f, good, 6/1) 48 days ago.

Form: 231-216

(2)

Carrigillihy¹⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 9-1| J: D Allan| T: T D Easterby| OR: 72| CD

11/4

C&D winner. Settled better than is often the case when scoring at Pontefract in April. Third of 5 in handicap at Leicester (10f, soft, 14/1) 15 days ago. Back up in trip and likely to give it a good shot.

Form: 264-513

11/4

5/2, respectable third of 7 in handicap at Hamilton (11.1f, good) 21 days ago, denied a clear run at least once. Has to be of major interest from the same mark.

Form: 387-573

Forecasts

Where's Jeff (11/4), Carrigillihy (11/4), Fairmac (7/2), Croeso Cymraeg (13/2), True Courage (12/1), Sudona (12/1), Can Can Girl (14/1), Pearl Warrior (16/1)

WHERE'S JEFF would have finished no worse than second had he not been denied a clear run at Hamilton 3 weeks ago and on that evidence he's ready to cash in on this mark. True Courage never really looked like justifying support over C&D last time but he is effective here and he ought to be a factor, along with Sudona.
