Did well under the circumstances (challenged widest away from the rail) when third of 9 in handicap (14/1) at Ascot (6f, good to soft), sticking to task. Off 8 months. Fancied to have a say on proceeding on first start for this yard in a first-time tongue strap (has had wind op also).

Yet to show anything for his new yard, last of 10 in handicap at Chelmsford City (6f) 16 days ago. Handicapper dropped his 7 lb but tough to make a case for on what he's shown on these shores so far.
9/2, creditable second of 6 in handicap at this course (5.1f, good to firm) 14 days ago, no match for winner but settling better than usual. Can give another good account.
18/1, run of good form halted when last of 11 in handicap at this C&D (good to firm) 28 days ago. Had been consistent prior to that effort so he may well bounce back quickly.
Highly tried at 2 yrs but was well held after 8 months off when 11 lengths last of 9 to Tiber Flow in listed race at Newbury (6f, good to firm) 30 days ago. Makes handicap bow today and that could rekindle his form.
Lightly raced for his age and returned better than ever after 6 months off to score at Chelmsford in April. Ran at least as well in defeat back on the turf when runner-up at Haydock last time so he's fancied to go well again.
Quirky sort. Latest win at Wolverhampton in December. Wasted no time getting back on track despite pulling hard early when fourth of 11 in handicap (13/2) at Chelmsford City (7f) 30 days ago.
Fourth of 7 in handicap (10/1) at Haydock (6f, good) 18 days ago. Yet to convince over 6f so best to look elsewhere.
Ran creditably after 6 months off when fifth of 18 in handicap (25/1) at Ascot (6f, good) 38 days ago. That outing should've blown away any cobwebs so, with the cheekpieces back on, he's expected to be bang there.

Forecasts
Asad (11/4), Cairn Gorm (10/3), Kit Gabriel (7/2), Amazonian Dream (17/2), Beyond Equal (11/1), Lequinto (12/1), The Organiser (12/1), Marks Bear (12/1), San Isidro (50/1)
A fascinating feature sprint handicap that can go to KIT GABRIEL. Amy Murphy's charge returned with a creditable fifth in a big-field event at Ascot last month, and with that outing expected to have blown away any cobwebs, he's fancied to notch a second career success with the cheekpieces back on. Cairn Gorm can give him most to think about on first start for his flourishing new yard, with the in-form Asad completing the shortlist.
