Consistent throughout last season and stepped up on his reappearance when finishing a close fourth at Nottingham 8 days ago. That was his best effort yet and he commands respect.
Promise both starts at 2 yrs and, gelded during the winter, he narrowly landed the odds in a first-time hood on return in a 5f Wolverhampton maiden. Shaped well on handicap debut when fourth at Goodwood 19 days ago (not clear run approaching final 1f) and he should go close down in grade.
Had a busy 2021, scoring twice, and looked back somewhere near the top of her game under this rider when third at Carlisle just under a fortnight ago. Solid each-ways claims.
Fourteen runs since last win in 2021 and seemingly just going through the motions at present, fifth at Windsor (5.1f, good to soft) 3 days ago. Hopes pinned on a first-time visor sparking the necessary improvement.
Not long with this yard and ran well under a positive ride back on turf (with headgear left off) when runner-up at Salisbury 12 days ago. Back up a couple of pounds after that effort and he's fancied to be involved.
Produced easily her best effort of the year having been given some respite by the handicapper when fourth at Nottingham 23 days. Bit to find on the figures but, now dropping to the minimum trip for the first time, she's worth a market check.
Fair form when placed all 3 outings as a juvenile and shaped as if she'd be better for the run after 8 months off when fifth on handicap bow at Ripon a fortnight ago. Will need to take a step forward to feature but that's not out of the question.
Off the mark at Newcastle (5f) in February and good second at Nottingham next time. Failed to stay the 6f trip at Chester 12 days ago and the handicapper has cut her some slack.
Seemed to show improved form in first-time hood when runner-up in a Doncaster novice last month, though was possibly flattered to run the winner as close as she did. This just her second start in handicaps but others make more appeal on balance.

Forecasts
Mr Beaufort (11/4), Pepper Streak (6/1), So Smart (13/2), Silky Wilkie (7/1), Miss Calculation (15/2), Proclivity (8/1), Fabiosa (9/1), Gabriella's Spirit (12/1), May Blossom (18/1)
Cases can be made for most but preference is for MR BEAUFORT, who shaped well when fourth on handicap debut at Goodwood recently (hampered on more than one occasion), and now dropping into Class 5 company here, Tom Clover's charge can resume winning ways. Silky Wilkie looked back to his best when a close fourth at Nottingham 8 days ago so he may emerge as the chief danger, with So Smart completing the shortlist.
