Completed a quick hat-trick in November 2020. Not seen again until well beaten in 2 outings for Richard Hawker last season. Needs a betting check ahead of this first run for Laura Morgan.
Modest on Flat and similar level of form over hurdles, finishing weakly when eighth of 13 in 2m Worcester handicap a month ago. Others more obvious.
Modest maiden on the Flat for Eve Johnson Houghton. Similar level in juvenile/novice hurdles for this stable but handicaps do provide her with a more realistic chance of success.
Big improver when completing a hat-trick last autumn but he hasn't looked in the same form in 2 comeback outings this spring. First-time visor (replacing usual cheekpieces) needs to help spark a revival.
Returned from wind surgery to land a gamble at Catterick (19f) in December but only fifth when favourite at Wincanton next time and pulled up at Leicester in February. Betting perhaps the best guide to expectations after 4 months off.
Has found some improvement this spring, second in Stratford seller before going one better in 4-runner C&D handicap 13 days ago. 4 lb higher in a deeper race now but still much respected in current mood.
Respectable efforts over hurdles first 4 starts for new stable and his latest Flat outing can be ignored as he was shuffled back at a crucial stage. Each-way claims.
Sole Flat win came over 7f and failed to see his race out in 3 maiden hurdles earlier in the year. Stamina could always be an issue over jumps but he is worth a precautionary betting check now handicapping after a break.
Well held in a bumper and 4 hurdles. Handicaps provide him with a more realistic chance but would need to see market support to consider. Hooded first time.
Fair maiden on Flat for Jessica Harrington but has has been disappointing on Flat and over hurdles for this yard, including well held back from a break at Market Rasen last month. Tongue tied first time. Has plenty to prove.
Winner of just one of his 19 starts over hurdles and offered little when starting out for new trainer Claire Harris at Taunton in April. Blinkers back on.
Yet to better poor form over hurdles but he's potentially well treated on the fair form he's shown on the Flat this spring, including an AW win. Brian Hughes up. Interesting.

Forecasts
Leopolds Rock (9/4), Ten Past Midnight (11/4), Sehayli (9/2), Overtougeorge (10/1), Colonel Lesley (10/1), Boundsy Boy (14/1), Yulong Magicreef (16/1), Silkstone (20/1), Pittsburg (22/1), Fae The Port (33/1), Stigwood (40/1), Call Me Jezza (200/1)
LEOPOLDS ROCK can be made to look well treated from his basement hurdle mark based on his Flat form so he's the suggestion with Brian Hughes in the saddle for the first time. Overtougeorge came good here last month and ought to be on the premises again, while Silkstone has run respectably on all hurdle starts since joining Danny Brooke and being eased another 2 lb can only help.

- Silkstone20/1
