Bashful²⁷

16/1

Fairly useful form for Andrew Balding on the Flat but didn't come up to expectations over hurdles for Oliver Greenall & Josh Guerriero. Picked up by a shrewd yard and return to this discipline will suit.

Forecasts

Havana Party (15/8), Poet's Dawn (5/2), Alpha Cru (4/1), Silver Dust (8/1), Carey Street (10/1), Bashful (16/1), Gordonstoun (22/1)

POET'S DAWN has been threatening a revival lately and this doesn't look like much of a race, so he could capitalise on a reduced mark under a positive ride. Bashful is an obvious danger if he produces the sort of form he showed for Andrew Balding last year, while his stablemate Havana Party is a player if the cheekpieces have a positive effect again.
