Largely campaigned over fences with little success since landing a Doncaster novice hurdle in December 2019. Has finished well beaten back in this sphere on his last 2 starts 4 months apart.
Little impact first 4 starts over hurdles, but runner-up in 2m Chepstow handicap in March before going one better in maiden back there. Unsuited by emphasis on speed at Bangor (19.6f) last time. Respected.
Fair winner on Flat for Richard Fahey and showed an aptitude for hurdling when third of 9 in novice at Southwell in April. Only third of 4 at Warwick last time but could do better on handicap debut.
Landed a Stratford seller (18.6f) on stable debut in October. Third on next 2 starts at that level but not in the same form both outings in handicaps last month. Third of 9 on the Flat on latest run.
Made it 3 wins from 7 starts for current yard when making all in Stratford handicap (18.7f) in October, battling well. After 7 months off, ran well when third at Ludlow (21.2f) last time.
Step back in right direction when fourth in a Newton Abbot apprentice event (21.5f) in March, but failed to build on that effort when sixth of 7 here (21.9f) the following month. Others preferred.
Showed little in a bumper and novice/maiden hurdles. However, looked a different proposition when winning on handicap debut on Sedgefield 23 days ago. Will go on improving with the longer trip to suit.
Has made an unpromising start to his career so far in a bumper and novice/maiden hurdles. Needs to leave previous efforts well behind now making his handicap debut.

Forecasts
Mac Be Lucky (7/4), Kilchreest Moon (5/1), Outback Frontiers (7/1), Saddlers Quest (15/2), One Touch (8/1), Secret Secret (8/1), Prison Break (10/1), Robbie Dazzler (25/1)
MAC BE LUCKY showed much improved form when making a successful handicap debut and can follow up with further progress to come. The 5-y-o still looked green when scoring at Sedgefield, rallying well after wandering in front, so he can build on that effort with the extra distance to suit. Outback Frontiers wasn't seen to best effect last time and is feared most, ahead of handicap-debutant Prison Break.
