Failed to build on the small promise of last run when only sixth of 7 in handicap at Fontwell (19.2f, good to firm, 14/1) 24 days ago, going in snatches. Blinkers on for 1st time.

Tok full advantage of the misfortunes of others to get off the mark over hurdles in 12-runner maiden at Newton Abbot (18.5f, good, 80/1) 42 days ago, left in front last. Opening mark requires more. Has had a breathing operation.

Free goer who ran below form at Fontwell last time, but now returns from a break having dropped 2 lb below his last winning mark. Dangerous to dismiss.

Opened hurdles account in 2½m Uttoxeter handicap in 2020/21 and ran to a similar level when fourth at Doncaster on final start that season, going in snatches. Returns from 18 months off from a 5 lb lower mark and market perhaps best guide.

Back-to-back last-gasp 2m handicap wins here last June and didn't do a lot wrong when finishing runner-up on his next couple of starts. Probably needed the run upped markedly in trip on first outing for new yard here (23.9f) 12 days ago and needs considering with cheekpieces back on.

Placed first 2 starts in novice hurdles for current yard but has made no impact in handicaps last four runs. Handicapper continues to relent.
