Promising sort. 7/2, stepped up on debut when second of 7 in minor event at Haydock (11.6f, good to firm) 33 days ago. Sure to progress again. Respected.
Thrice-raced colt. Third of 8 in maiden at Chester (10.3f, soft, 11/2) 22 days ago, having run of race. Can give his running again but might be vulnerable for win purposes.
4/1, made promising debut when third of 8 in maiden at Doncaster (10.2f, good) 61 days ago. Tongue strap on 1st time. Leading contender with the benefit of his first run behind him.
100,000 gns yearling, Brother to smart 7f winner Endless Light and 7f-1m winner Cainhoe Star and half-brother to 3 winners, including smart 2-y-o 6f/7f winner Van Der Decken. Interesting newcomer.
Promising individual. 12/1 and blinkered, showed plenty to work on when third of 7 in minor event at Haydock (11.6f, good to firm) on debut 33 days ago. Major player with Dettori on board.
Twice-raced colt. Still green when third of 4 in minor event at Newcastle (10.2f, 5/4) 59 days ago.
Promising individual. Second of 9 in minor event (9/4) at Salisbury (9.9f, good) 14 days ago. Remains open to improvement over this longer distance.
Seventh of 11 in minor event at Nottingham (10.2f, good, 28/1) on debut 20 days ago. Should have more to offer but this looks a tough task.
Twice-raced colt. 9/4, fifth of 12 in maiden at Nottingham (10.2f, good to firm) 40 days ago, missing break. Remains open to improvement.
Twice-raced colt. 40/1, left debut form well behind when second of 5 in minor event at Thirsk (12f, good to firm) 12 days ago, clear of rest. Open to progress but may just find a few too strong.
20,000 gns yearling, Zoffany filly. Dam unraced half-sister to useful 7f winner Sylvestris. Best watched on debut.
80/1, fifth of 7 in minor event at Newmarket (8f, good) on debut 13 days ago, slowly away. Significantly up in trip. Looks to be up against it.

Forecasts
Baltic Bird (5/2), Highland Frolic (11/4), Naval College (9/2), Berkshire Breeze (5/1), Sooghan (8/1), General Idea (14/1), Moonis (22/1), Wait To Excel (33/1), Golden Keeper (40/1), Novel Legend (50/1), Bint Alsarab (200/1), Oh So Audacious (200/1)
This looks to be an informative maiden, with preference for GENERAL IDEA to build on his debut effort and continue the excellent form of William Haggas. He is likely to know much more this time after his promising third at Doncaster and can step forward to get off the mark. There are plenty of promising types in the line-up though, with Highland Frolic and Baltic Bird giving the Gosdens a strong hand in the race.
